Aaron Carter Flip-Flops On Trump Endorsement (IMAGES)

Saturday, Aaron Carter took to Twitter to endorse Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, then took it back. Now if you’re scratching your head wondering who the hell this Aaron kid is, well, you’re not alone.

Aaron Carter is the twenty-eight-year-old little brother of Nick Carter, member of the popular boy band Backstreet Boys, who attempted a career of his own in the pop industry as a young teen. Carter endorsed Trump via Twitter in response to a tweet sent out by Trump where he claims to not be controlled by lobbyists because his campaign is self-funded.

Does America want to have a president who FOLLOWS or someone who leads? I vote For @realdonaldtrump

There are different types 0f leaders. Ones who inspire change, lead people to achieve the unthinkable while encouraging peace and ones who fear monger, promote hate and encourage people to do the unforgivable. Trump has very much taken the role of the second type of leader, one who would do great harm to our nation if elected as Commander-in-Chief.

Apparently some fans were not too thrilled with his choice to back Trump and he again took to Twitter to respond.

“Good thing I live in America and I have the right to my own opinion such as a lot of my NON supporters have for me at times.”

Like many Trump supporters, if not all, Carter used the “It’s Murica and I have my rights” excuse for backing a sexist, racist hate monger who has no experience running a country instead of actually giving a reason as to why he actually supports him.

While I applaud Carter for realizing that we need a leader, it seems he has failed to recognize the direction in which Trump would lead us: down in flames. Until now…sort of. Thanks to the responses to Carter’s tweet, he actually learned something. He had no idea what Trump actually stood for before endorsing him.

LISTEN TO ME CAREFULLY if Donald trump doesn’t support the LGBT community I’m not voting for him. PERIOD!!

This is the kind of celebrity endorsement that is a problem. He jumped to support Trump without actually reading up on the candidate and what he stands for or against. Celebs, regardless of where they are on the celebrity totem pole, have the ability to influence others and blindly supporting some guy they know nothing about is reckless.

Unfortunately for Aaron, I don’t think this is going to help his dead career….
