Veteran’s Day is a nationally recognized day to honor those that have made the ultimate sacrifice for country, liberty, and freedom.
This is the patriotism that Republicans love to brag about, so surely now would be the absolute worse time for any declaration of self- or victimhood, especially if it had nothing to do with the military, right?
Of course not, at least not for morally-bankrupt Republican Senator nominee Roy Moore. Veteran’s Day was just an opportunity to address that there is only really one victim here, and that is, of course, Roy Moore.
Roy Moore made a pathetic plea against the many allegations of sexual misconduct, one of which includes a sexual relationship with a 14-year-old, levied against him. It was his first public appearance since the allegations broke on Thursday.
I am not guilty of sexual misconduct with anyone. I have the highest regard for the protection of young women … I have not provided alcoholic beverages, beer, or anything else to a minor.
In a classic case of deflection, Moore then accused the media of political football against him in his race in the special election for the U.S. Senate seat in Alabama.
‘Why now?’ he said, calling the accusations ‘hurtful to me personally.’
As sick as that is, Roy Moore has gone so far as to using the allegation as a means of making a profit for his campaign. The family-issues candidate has been circulating emails to his supporters asking them for campaign donations specifically to combat the allegations made by “The Obama-Clinton Machine.”

Some Republicans, such Senator John McCain, have been quick to disavow their support for Roy Moore.
But of course, to some – pointing in your direction Sean Hannity and Jerry Pow – the lines between right and wrong has been blurred by the need to win by any means.
Well, it’s not the liberals voting for pedophiles.
