America has been in turmoil for a solid year following the presidential election that put Donald Trump in the White House. His approval ratings seem to reach new lows weekly and we are the laughing stock of the world. But guess what? Trump supporters say they have zero regrets and would f*ck the country over yet again by voting for the Mango Maniac if given the chance.
A POLITICO/Morning Consult poll conducted just one day before the anniversary of Trump’s unexpected election win found that a whopping 82 percent of Trump voters would vote for him again. A mere seven percent said that they would vote differently if they had it to do over.
This comes after he has spent the past year embroiled in one controversy after another and despite the fact that he is perilously close to being busted for colluding with Russia to interfere in the 2016 election.
The poll also discovered that only 52 percent of voters think that Trump will remain in office until his term is up, while 37 percent think he will either be impeached or resign before his four years are up.
When it comes to finances, 26 percent of Trump voters said they are better off today than they were a year ago. Another 25 percent said they are worse off financially than they were this time last year and 41 percent said there has been no change in their financial situation since Trump took office.
Voters who support President Trump have a markedly sunnier outlook on their own financial situation than those who don’t,” said Morning Consult co-founder and Chief Research Officer Kyle Dropp. “Among those voters who strongly approve of the president, 41 percent say they’re doing better off financially than last year. Among voters who strongly disapprove, that number falls to just 18 percent.
Among voters, 40 percent think Trump is changing the government for the worse. Only 34 percent said he is changing things for the better and another 16 percent don’t think he’s managed to actually change anything at all. However, when you look at Trump voters, they have a much rosier view. Just eight percent of his supporters think he is changing the government for the worse and a whopping 66 percent think he is making changes for the better.
Despite the undying support of his disillusioned followers, only a pitiful 23 percent of voters strongly approve of his job performance and 33 percent don’t even think his presidency is legitimate in the first place. But Trump voters still see President P*ssy-grabber as their savior and would do it all over again in a heartbeat. Sad!
